Hello hello hello everyone in cyberspace!  I want to personally thank you for stumbling upon my little kingdom on the information super highway. It is my pleasure to share a little about myself...

Unlike many authors, I didn't start out writing. Of course, I would occassionally dabble in a few things, but nothing of any significance. My friends and family have always known that I've always wanted to be a scientist, inventor, or an astronaut, going to places "no one has been before". Therefore, I studied science and engineering during my undergraduate RPI days, later to be commissioned as an Air Force officer.

My time in the military was an experience I will never forget. Between traveling the world and my post graduate educational opportunities with the University of Oklahoma, I was fortunate to gain great insight about the human spirit. Never once, did I dream of becoming an author.

Ultimately, I left the military to resume my life as an ordinary citizen. After resuming my technical career, I noticed military women, civilian women, stay at home mothers, executives, urban women, and suburban women all had similar issues, just different faces. After birthing my son, I began writing about my collection of experiences. Never did I imagine I would awaken the sleeping writer in me. From that day forward, a writer was born.

The need to give voice to everything, I've learned, grew like a raging forest fire. I could not shut up! Between blogs and water cooler debates, I decided to publish my very own novel. Hopefully you will enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Did you know that...?
1. Dean Koontz is my favorite author (I loved Intensity)
2. I used to want to be an astronaut
3. I'm a closet reality show fan (guess it's no longer a secret huh?)
4. I hope to see the aurora borealis one day
5. I sleep with two night lights (scared of the dark)
6. The Boy Who Reversed Himself, Flatland, and Destination Brain are my fave science fiction titles
7. I cried (in first grade) when Apollo died in Rocky
8. I almost passed out in Tienamen Square in China due to heat and exhaustion
9. I know a lot of Backyardigans songs (thanks to my 2.5 year old son)
10. I'm highly favored

Thanks for stopping by and come back again. Take care and God bless!
